"Beautiful spot..."
Beautiful spot - lovely facility with great ambiance and character. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and all amenities just perfect. The food was excellent and of course the hospitality wonderful. We even loved the sound of the rain on the roof and the many trains and the birds. Thanks for the lovely stay.

"What a wonderful spot..."
What a wonderful spot to spend the first night of our honeymoon trip! We are so impressed with everything, but especially to the attention to details and the obvious joy that Wayne and Heather bring to all they do. Storm's Cabin - great bed! Beautiful view - Thank you.

"....we loved it."
My wife spotted the sign from the highway and we decided to check it out. We were planning on staying in Revelstoke but once we stepped into Storm's Cabin, we loved it. The bed was like a cloud, we had a very restful sleep. Yummy breakfast made with love was the perfect finishing touch. We will be back.

"...home away from home."
Thank you so much for being a place where we could call home away from home, if only for one night. The work and love you put into your land is nothing short of spectacular. You have inspired us to see what can become of the piece of land we ourselves own with a vision that is inside us. I am left leaving your gorgeous facility feeling refreshed and very inspired. My husband says "Oh no! When you feel inspired, that usually means work for me!" Thank you again for opening your home to us. We will hopefully be back again.

"...place of unequalled beauty"
This remains one of the most extraordinary and idyllic Bed and Breakfasts I know of in the world. Having traveled extensively in the 6 inhabited continents, Griffin Lake Lodge Bed and Breakfast remains for us a place of unequalled beauty, peace and tranquility. Wayne and Heather's friendship, hosting and catering talents are for us on a global scale. Something that has impacted us during these last 10 years of continued visits. We look forward to the next 10.

"enjoyed watching the trains"
Thank you Wayne and Heather for being such brilliant hosts. The room was very comfortable with a superb view and sitting by the lake was very relaxing. Dave enjoyed his wander around the estate and also watching the trains. You have both worked hard to make this an excellent place to stay.

"...quintessential picture post card"
This is the quintessential picture post card of Canada; a log cabin by a mountain lake in the Rockies! Glad we came and proud to be a Canadian living in such a wonderful country!

"...Why am I going home?"
My sister-in-laws are sound asleep in the superbly comfortable beds, complete with Egyptian cotton sheets. I am sitting on the leather love seat, curled up in the corner watching the mist moving slowly over the tops of the trees. I want to write something memorable to put into words how I feel about my stay at Griffin Lake Lodge, but I am uncharacteristically lost for words! Instead I am sitting here watching the lake and its sheer stillness. I am remembering Heather's welcoming smile and the laughter we shared with our lodging buddies. I am thinking of how amazing our breakfast is going to taste this morning and as I take in the wonderment of this place, I am asking myself, "Why am I going home?" Thank you.

"...one of the best B&B's anywhere!"
We loved the view across the lake and the garden, the beautiful surroundings, the rumbling trains and -- most of all -- the friendly hospitality. This is one of the best B&B's anywhere!

"...this is paradise."
Wow! What can we say - this is paradise. Your photos show how hard you both have worked to make it that way. This was the "perfect" spot for our 5th wedding anniversary. Your hospitality is fabulous! .........There is obviously a word or a phrase that describes the ambiance of the lodge itself, the majesty of the mountains and the serenity of the lake. I am not a linguist, but I don't think that German phrases can accommodate the feelings. The French have a phrase for it, I just don't know what it is. Marmots and dear have a single sound that covers it. I don't know that either; but I think it must sound something like "home". Thanks.
