Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge Bed and Breakfast

Such a shame we couldn’t stay longer. What a fantastic place. We have stayed in many places that claim to be “unique” and “homey” but this place beats them all hands down. The attention to detail and little touches – trinkets, books etc – really make it feel like staying at a friend’s house. Wayne and Heather are exceptional hosts. Watching the salmon, the misty mountains, canoeing on the lake…a short but memorable stay in a beautifully located and decorated place. We’ll be back!

As always, we received a warm welcome and after a 5 hour car journey it was perfect. I cannot emphasize how welcoming and relaxing it is to be here. With mountains, a lake and a river as a backdrop to such hospitality it is no wonder we have returned and we are already planning a winter visit. Sunshine, storms, bald eagles, canoes and endless cups of coffee insure that we have the perfect break. How you (Heather and Wayne) manage to stay so enthusiastic about what is in your own back garden is a testament to what you have achieved. You should be justly proud of everything that is here and all of the kind and accurate words written in this book. Many thanks.
