Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge Bed and Breakfast

As always, we received a warm welcome and after a 5 hour car journey it was perfect. I cannot emphasize how welcoming and relaxing it is to be here. With mountains, a lake and a river as a backdrop to such hospitality it is no wonder we have returned and we are already planning a winter visit. Sunshine, storms, bald eagles, canoes and endless cups of coffee insure that we have the perfect break. How you (Heather and Wayne) manage to stay so enthusiastic about what is in your own back garden is a testament to what you have achieved. You should be justly proud of everything that is here and all of the kind and accurate words written in this book. Many thanks.

From the delicious chocolate chip cookies to catching a “monster” Rainbow Trout, to playing fetch with Storm….this is truly a special place, run by special people. Thank you so much. We will be dreaming of Griffin Lake for months to come when we get back to Texas. Until we return….
