Glacier National Park is within the wet belt of the British Columbia interior. The humid and warm climate of this rugged mountainous region provide for a wide variety of plant and wildlife including grizzly bear and cariboo. Like Mount Revelstoke Park, there are a wide variety of hiking opportunities.
The Rogers Pass National Historic center is within Glacier National Park. The park is covered by large areas of glacier and plenty of old-growth cedar and hemlock stands.
