Revelstoke Railway Museum

The Revelstoke Railway Museum is located on Victoria Avenue, to your left as you enter the city from the main entrance off of Highway #1.

Here, you can learn about the colorful history of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Many exhibits describe the construction of the railway line through the rugged passes of the British Columbia wilderness right up to the present day railway operations. You’ll find many restored and preserved examples of the equipment and a lot of information about the people who run the railway and those that built it.
The Revelstoke Railway museum is open in July and August between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. For “shoulder season” hours, see the museums website.
