There are two Championship 18 Hole Golf Courses within a 30 minute drive from the Lodge, both of which are in simply magnificent settings.
Revelstoke’s Championship 18 hole riverside golf course was established in 1924 and features a unique Clubhouse that originated as the barn and stables for the equestrian track in the early 1900′s. Flanked by the majestic Monashee and Selkirk Mountains with giant spruce and cedar trees lining the fairway, the Revelstoke Golf and Country Club has been described as “a gem of a course”.
The par 72, 6521 yard layout along the Columbia River, affords an excellent golfing challenge in a spectacular location. You can take professional lessons, check out the driving range, visit the pro shop, rent power carts and enjoy the ultimate course that few others have discovered. After a round of golf enjoy the licensed restaurant and patio. It is a beautiful setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner as well.

How to get there from Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge – Travel 27 km east on Hwy #1. As you approach Revelstoke you will cross the Columbia River Bridge. Turn left at Laforme Blvd (the first set of traffic lights after the bridge) and follow signs to the course.

Hyde Mountain is a Les Furber designed Championship Golf Course overlooking Mara Lake. The Hyde Mountain Course will take your breath away with its cliff-side golf shots, dramatic elevation changes and incredible lake views.The club caters to a wide variety of playing ability and group size and their Golf Professionals can assist you with improving your game. It was nominated for Best New Canadian Golf Course in 2003 by Golf Digest.

How to get there from Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge – Travel 46 km west on Hwy #1. Hyde Mountain is located 3 km off Trans Canada Highway #1 in Sicamous. Just turn left off the highway at Old Spallumcheen Road, immediately after the bridge.
