Thanks so much for our wonderful stay at your Bed and Breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and all that Revelstoke has to offer - especially the Revelstoke Dam and the railway museum. We will be back and hopefully can see some of the other Revelstoke attractions.

 

 

Revelstoke Dam

The Revlstoke Dam is located just a few minutes north of the Revelstoke Dam - Revelstoke British Columbiatownsite of Revelstoke British Columbia. The dam is a major Revelstoke attraction that attracts a great deal of tourism to the region.

The Revelstoke dam is one of North America's largest hydro electirc facilities and is currently in the midst of a large expansion. The dam is the second largest hydro generating plants in British Columbia.

The Revelstoke Dam has a newly renovatedRevelstoke Dam visitor center that allows tourists to view numerous displays relating to hydro electric development in BC as well as the construction of the dam itself. Admission to the visitor center is free and is open to the public from June 1st to to September 30th. There are sef guided tours and the facility is fully wheelchair accessible.
